All In One Keylogger 3.2 Review |
New version of All In One Keylogger supports Windows 7.
Advantages:- Multi-OS support
- Great stealthiness level
- Configurable self-removal
- Ability to copy log-files to a portable device
- Great visual surveillance
- Sound recording
- Grouping of the intercepted information and settings into categories
- Great log transfer options
- Both side interception in messengers
- Multi-language interface
Disadvantages:- Very weak file activity monitoring
- A bulk of steps to follow during the pre-installation
The installation process is very simple, but a lot of pre-installation windows do not leave a good impression. In total you need to pass 5 windows (Welcome screen, EULA, Destination Location screen, Additional Tasks screen and the last one – Confirm screen). After the installation is finished the program icon appears in System Tray, on clicking it the Create Password screen appears. When the password is created and the button ‘Understood’ in Password reminder screen is clicked you are finally able to see the interface of the program. Everything is easy-to-use – the settings are grouped into categories and are listed in the left part of the window. More detailed settings from each of the groups are shown in the right part of the screen. The log files viewer has the same structure – the left side contains the group names, while the right one shows us the logs themselves.
As usual we’ll continue with the strongest points of the program. In new build of All in One Keylogger 3.2 they are: great log-transfer options (log files can be transported by all the means available in our testing), total invisibility of the program, implementation of such a rare function as ‘Sound recording’, great visual surveillance, recording of system logon/logoff time, ‘Reaction to a specific keyword’, both of parental control functions. What we also liked a lot is that both program’s configuration window and log viewer has its own hotkey combination, so it made the process of program testing, as well as using of the program really comfortable. The new build of All in One Keylogger 3.2 is able to intercept URLs in Opera, intercept Skype chat conversations and has an option to make screenshots of the active windows only.The program interface was also translated into Spanish and Italian languages. Well done!
As for the weaknesses of the program they are the following: very weak file activity monitoring (only logging of the opened files function is implemented), good, but still not perfect URL interception level (3 of 4 browsers). Judging from the fact that each new version of All In One Keylogger receives more and more points by implementing new functions, we may suppose that URL interception and file-activity monitoring features will, most probably, be implemented in newer versions. Though these are only our assumptions, we really wish Relytec Team to keep it up!
Though the program has some disadvantages, its great interception and stealthiness level, user-friendliness and multilanguage interface make it program that will come in handy for all the groups of users.
