SpyAgent Stealth Edition features a preconfigured installer that installs the software in optimal stealth - with no user interaction needed during the installation process. The actual SpyAgent software is no different than the normal SpyAgent version - only the installation method is different - which takes all the effort away from the user in hiding the software.

Disadvantages:- Not enough stealthiness level
- Not enough URL interception level
- A bulk of steps to follow during the pre-installation
It is always easy to review good products as they have a lot of advantages and minimum disadvantages. Following this postulate Spytech Spy Agent 6.10.08 is the easiest to review as it holds the first position in our testing! So, let’s start.
Installation process is very simple, but anyway it has 8 windows (2 welcome screens, the description of the program, EULA, the one asking you where to install the program to, the one asking you to choose between Stealth and Tester installation, the one asking you to think once again and start the installation process if you are sure in all the settings you’ve made and the final one, asking you whether you would like to include an uninstaller) that is not good if you are trying to install the program quickly.
After the installation the program asks you to create a password and shows you ‘Easy configuration and setup wizard’ that has only five steps (three of them are ‘Confirm Settings’, ‘Apply’ and ‘Finish’) that will help a user to make a ‘quick configure’ of the program. After finishing the ‘Easy configuration and setup wizard’ we are welcomed to see the main program screen that is really pleasant to look at – all the information is grouped into categories. All the categories have special icons that should be clicked if you want to view the intercepted information of this category. Great filtration possibility is the positive side of the program, the information can be viewed in groups, in one log, sorted by date, by time, by name, etc. The main program screen is also the place where from you can configure Spytech Spy Agent in a much more detailed way. The software has several configuration screens that are also grouped into categories and let the user configure even the smallest things of program behavior.
As for the log transfer options the log files can be transferred by three basic means – email, LAN and FTP. As for the program stealthiness level it is somewhere ‘in the middle’ – there are no files in Start menu, no processes in Task Manager and nothing in the ‘Add or remove programs’ menu, but the program folder was found by our team.
As for the interception the product has both strong and weak points. The program is capable to intercept both sides of all the chat messengers listed in our testing except Skype, monitors all the file activities except file renaming and even records the system inactivity time. But it intercepts URLs only in two of four browsers (IE and Mozilla), doesn’t record mouse clicks, system logon time and password. It is a pity that such a great program doesn’t intercept the kind of data.
The visual surveillance is on the average level, as in the majority of the products – all functions except ‘On-mouse-click screenshots’ and ‘Ability to make screenshots of visited web-sites’ are implemented.
Parental control and filtering options are worth praising – both of the Parental Control options and all of the filtering ones except the ‘Ability to watch certain programs’ and ‘Several days report building’ are implemented.
Summing up we can say that Spytech Spy Agent will come in handy to all the users who value simplicity in use and functionality but pay less attention to stealthiness and don’t need to install the product ‘in a hurry’.
