One of the best surveillance programs we have tested, because of its rich functionality, flexibility and easy-to-understand interface. Can be used to monitor home PC, perform parental control and employee monitoring. Less stealth, than Stealth Edition, can't be installed remotely and installation process is done in regular way (not in one click, like in Stealth Edition.) In our testing, it gets 1121 out of possible 1172 points.

It is always easy to review good products as they have a lot of advantages and few disadvantages. In this sense Spytech SpyAgent is one of the easiest programs to review, as it holds one of the top positions in our testing! So, let's start.

The installation process of Standard Edition of SpyAgent is very simple and takes only few seconds — the only thing you need to do is to launch the installation file, pass through a few steps, and the keystroke logger is installed.

After installation, the keylogger asks you to create a password and shows you "Easy configuration and setup wizard" that has only five steps (three of them are "Confirm Settings", "Apply" and "Finish") that will help you make a "quick configure" of the newly installed computer monitoring software. After finishing "Easy configuration and setup wizard" you are welcomed to see the main spy software screen that is really pleasant to look at — all the information is grouped into categories. All the categories have special icons that should be clicked if you want to view the intercepted information of this category. Great filtration functionality is the positive side of the program: the information can be viewed in groups, in one log, sorted by date, by time, by name, etc. The main screen of keylogger software is also the place from which you can configure Spytech SpyAgent in a much more detailed way. The keystroke logger has several configuration screens that are also grouped into categories and lets you configure even the smallest things in keylogger's behavior.

As for the log transfer options, the log files can be transferred by all the means available in our testing — email, LAN, FTP and portable device. As for the level of stealthiness of this pc monitoring software, it is also almost perfect "in the middle" — there are no files in Start menu, nothing in the "Add or remove programs" menu, and the keylogger's folder is hidden. Unfortunately, the processes of SpyAgent are visible in Task Manager and its Startup Entries are not hidden.

As for the user activity monitoring, Spytech SpyAgent can be used for spying on Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, AIM, Skype and Facebook Messenger. This monitoring software records mouse clicks and system logon time, but not the password. As for the good part of interception capabilities, Spytech SpyAgent monitors all the file activities, and even records the system inactivity time and microphone! All the sounds produced near your PC, including voice chats, can be registered. Moreover, this spy software allows capturing and storing images through computer’s webcam thus helping you understand what is going on there. If you wish to view the situation in a real-time mode, you can benefit from the newly developed function Real-Time Remote Viewing. This will enable you to ceaselessly keep control over what is being done on your computer.

The visual surveillance is great — all functions are implemented.

Child monitoring and content filtering options are worth praising — both of the Parental Control options and all of the filtering ones except the "Specified programs monitoring" and "Several days report building" are implemented.

To sum it up, we can say that Spytech SpyAgent Standard Edition will come in handy to all users who value simplicity in use and functionality but pay less attention to stealthiness.
